A little birdie is spinning circles,
circles around my head.
A little birdie chirps, chirping night and day,
Chirping happily in front of my window,
I won’t chase it away.
A little birdie so elegant, so smooth,
I wanna make its nest my bed.
A little birdie so lovely, so cute,
I’ll pick it up, take it into my arms.
A little birdie appears so shy,
you might think it never harms
another birdie.
A little birdie so stunning,
a thousand ripped pages
couldn’t pay it proper tribute.
I want to ruffle that little birdies feathers,
you’re such a flirty birdie,
I might give you mine
and borrow your sweaters.
